The annual cricket encounter, 'Battle of the Hindus' between the two prestigious Hindu colleges Jaffna Hindu College (JHC) and Kokuvil Hindu College (KHC) will be played on March 18th and 19th at the Jaffna Hindu grounds. The limited over match for Sabalingam Trophy is on Monday 21st March.
The cricket match scheduled for March 18th, 19th is the forth Cricket Battle of Hindus between the two Hindu colleges. Previously the Hindu Cricket battle was between Jaffna Hindu and Colombo Hindu College, Bambalapitiya. Only the last 3 years it was played between JHC and KHC.

The battle of Hindus which started in 2008 ended in a draw throughout the last 3 years.
There will also be a limited over cricket match between the two Hindus.
The forth one day limited over cricket match between Hindus for the Sabalingam Trophy will be played on Monday, 21st March at the Kokuvil Hindu Nagalingam ground. In the limited over match played last 3 times Jaffna Hindu took the Sabalingam Trophy twice and the last one was won by Kokuvil Hindu.
This time both the teams are entering the battle on a good spirit having had many success in All Island School Cricket. Kokuvil Hindu reached up to the quarter final and Jaffna Hindu also had many successes at the All Island matches
