JHCA Canada will hold its annual cultural event, 'Kalaiyarasi' on the evening of Saturday, October 8th, 2011. This event will take place at the Chinese Cultural Center of Greater Toronto, 5183 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough -Sheppard Ave E & Progress Ave.
The evening of entertainment will have many cultural programmes including Carnatic music, Bharatha natyam, dance drama, stage plays, fashion show and many more.
Mr.Chandrakumaran is the Chief Guest of the evening.
JHCA Canada invites the old boys, their families and friends and well wishers, to grace the event and make it a grand success.
The tickets can be obtained from any one of the committee members (Contact Numbers: Krishnanandan 416-930-9199, Thayanithy 647-298-1894, Balendra 416-230-5506) or at the entrance of the Chinese Cultural Center just before the show (only if tickets are not sold out).
JHCA Canada requests the Contestants who participated in the contest held on Sept 17, 2011 to obtain their tickets in advance from the committee members to ensure they are at the award ceremony during the Kalaiarasi function. At each level of the contest, the student who scored the highest mark in Math and General Knowledge combined will be awarded a scholarship payable into their RESP account at the Kalaiarasi function. First, second and third places for each subject a each level will be announced. Participation certificates will be given to all participants.
