The Annual General Meeting (AGM 2010) of the JHCA Canada was held last Saturday, 11 December 2010 at the East Town Banquet Hall, Toronto.
The AGM was conducted according to the standard agenda. A special resolution made at the AGM was the appointment of a Project Committee. In addition to the executive committee for 2011, a special committee for project was set up at the AGM. The project committee will be responsible for the JHCA Canada supported school development projects. The project committee elected at the 2010 AGM will stand for the next five years; that is from 2011 to 2016. Mohan Sundaramohan and Wakisan Mathiyaparanam were elected respectively as the Chairman and the Secretary of the Special Projects Committee.
For the executive committee, Mr.P.Balendran was re-elected as the president. Mr.P.Thayanithy and Mr.K.Vijiyakulasingam were also re-elected as the Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
