Thai Pongal is one of the most important festivals for all of us. We believe that it brings new hopes to our life. Thai Pongal 2011 will be celebrated tomorrow, Saturday, 15 January.
Such an important festival in our culture will follow the tradition and will be celebrated in our college tomorrow, starting at 8.00 AM.Our college Principal, Mr. V. Ganesharajah joins with the teachers and students in wishing our old boys and past staff who are spread across the world, a very happy Thai Pongal and a very prosperous 2011.
They also extend their invitation to all the old boys and past staff who are in Jaffna to join them in the College Thai Pongal celebration on Saturday.
At this auspicious time, our web team wish to share with you the joy of our 9th anniversary of JAFFNAHINDU.ORG and the first anniversary of Kerni, the Jaffna Hindu database tomorrow.
The new version of the Jaffna Hindu database, eKERNI.COM was unveiled on Thai Pongal day last year. Now we have more than 1300 old boys, 95 teachers and all the principals registered in it. We wish more will join in and get benefited.
