With the reopening of the college ICT lab, the lab was moved from Thileepan block to the new block with more space allocated for the lab.
As more space is available, if the lab facilities are enhanced more students will benefit from it. Currently, the lab has got in addition to the old PCs, 10 new PCs with 19" flat screen monitor donated by OBA Melbourne for a cost of AUD 6000.College expects generous donations from individuals and associations to enhance the lab. The support can be given either in the form of cash or can directly donate the required items. The college is in immediate need of 30 computers and 50 computer chairs.
Considering the immediate need of this project and to give an idea about the project cost, Jaffna Hindu Web Team has collected quotations from four prominent computer vendors in Jaffna town.
