Athletic meet today; Mr.K.Seveal honoured as Chief Guest.40 Seater bus donated

The Annual Inter-house Athletic Meet 2010 held at Jaffna Hindu College today (26th Feb 2010). Mr.K.Seveal, President OBA UK participated in the meet as the Chief Guest.

The event started at 1.30, the chief guest and the principal paraded from Gnana Vairavar Kovil to the grounds and welcomed by Hindu band. Mr.Seveal is garlanded by Mr.Nimalan (Prefects of Games) and Mrs.Mathusubashini Seveal is garlanded by Mrs.Sathiyaruby Surenthiran (Vice Principal). Mr.E.Saravanapavan (Managing Director,Uthayan) also participated in the event.

Many prestigious old boys, well wishers, school students and teachers were gathered in the grounds to see the sports activities. The event ended up with Prize giving and the prizes were distributed by Mrs.Mathusubashini Seveal.

According to school sources, OBA UK has donated 40 seater bus for the use of the college. Mr.Seveal, President OBA UK handed it over today to the Principal on a special Pooja arranged at our college Temple.

Great to see Jaffna Hindu - Sports Day 2010 Photos

It is great to see the JHC Sports meet 2010 photos. It is a honour JHC OBA (UK), to have the UK OBA President as the Chief Guest for the Sports Meet 2010.
It is great to see the bus now avilable to our college. It was a long time dream to all the sports men from those days.
