The college has organized a welcome ceremony to greet the scholars who will be admitted to Grade 6 on Monday, 18 January 2010. The ceremony known as 'கால் கோள் விழா 2010' in Tamil is an annual event.
The Chief Guest of the ceremony will be Mr.Senthil Nanthan, the AGA of Nallur.
The function will start at 11.30 am and will be continued by the opening of the school hostel. 40 students will be admitted to the hostel on that day.
The 'KSS memorial hostel' which was closed nearly for a decade was renovated and will be opened on Monday. The hostel facilities were upgraded to accommodate 50 students.
The chief incumbent of the Nallur Aatheenam will be special guest at the function, he will give his blessing to the new students and the hostel inmates.
