Priyantha Vithanage (Sri Lanka) Posted Date: July 28, 2017
Dr Suresh Ratheswaran was one of my colleagues,at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit of the National Hispital of Sri Lanka,a few years back.
Working alongside him at the stressfull and arduous task, akin to our craft,I fathomed his calibure, hard woking, patient centred and honest.
His dedication to patients was immense. He expected neither praise nor advantage, through his hours of patient centred service.
His altruism,is a trait that impressed me to the hilt. Whenever he perceived that his aid would be to the benefit of his colleague,he never hesitated to help.
At a glance he seemed reticent and introvert, but he voiced his opinion, audaciously, when it mattered.
Permit me to convey my heartfelt condolences to his beloved wife, children, family and friends.
I am deeply shocked and horribly saddened by his sudden tragic demise.

My dear friend, may you attain the supreme bliss of nirwana!
