A song on Jaffna Hindu College released at Geethavani 2015 in Sydney

A song tributing Jaffna Hindu College was released by the Jaffna Hindu College Old Boys’ Association Sydney (JHC OBA Sydney) at the Geethavani Awards 2015, which was held on the 19th of September 2015 at the Sir Clancy Auditorium, University of New South Wales, Sydney. The song “Elunthidu Thola Elunthidu” motivates the youngsters of the Jaffna Hindu College and in praise of the school’s 125 years of pride and excellence in all spheres.
The song was written by Mr.G.Partheepan, President of OBA Sydney, and was composed by Satish Orchestra from Chennai. It was sung by "Pulli urumuthu" fame Anantha Narayanan (known as Ananthu), who was an assistant to Mellisai Mannar Sri M.S. Viswanathan for nearly two decades starting from 1996. Ananthu, as a playback singer, made his debut in the film “Sirpi” and since then, has sung for almost all music directors in the South Indian film industry. He sang for more than 50 films in various languages. Ananthu catapulted to fame with the song “Pulli urumbuthu”, a chartbuster in the film Vettaikkaran. “Kambikara Vetti” in the film Komban, Paniyara Konda in the film Kanagavel Kaakka are some of the top hits in his voice.
